Listen back to some of our recent talks available as podcasts.

We've had some great author talks and events over the last few months in dlr LexIcon.
Children's picturebook author and illustrator Lauren Child visited in April to talk about her writing, illustration and design work. Local bestselling author Julie Parsons spoke to Mags Walsh in May about her new novel The Therapy House. Australian author Tim Winton visited later in May to talk about his new collection of true stories and essays The Boy Behind the Curtain.
We celebrated this year's One City One Book title Echoland by Joe Joyce with some historical talks in April - a talk with naval historian and former Radio Officer Joe Varley about Marconi and the history of radio, and historian Michael Doran gave a talk on the links between Ireland and Germany during World War 2.
After the success of our first day for children's writers and illustrators in February this year we held a second day especially for picturebook writers and illustrators in May. The day featured advice from writers, illustrators and publishers and we hope it inspired and encouraged those present.
All of these talks and more are available to listen back to on our podcast collection page.
