This is a very gentle form of yoga to help de-stress and calm anxiety. Within the hour’s practice we use two or three restful poses, supported by pillows and blankets to give the body complete support. It can be done lying on the yoga mat, on a couch, even seated – though the more the body is lying out with the legs up, the better.
The practice involves resting for 15 to 20 mins in each pose, while listening to guided relaxation, visualisation and mindful awareness. When body settles, the mind can begin to slow down, allowing us to re-find our sense of balance and centeredness.
The practice is open to anyone.

Items required – 4 pillows, 2 blankets and an eye pillow (or something to cover the eyes).
