We are delighted to announce that the following dlr Library spaces will re-open to the public from Monday 29 June:
In line with other sectors during this Phase, this is a gradual return to library services, bearing current public health guidance in mind at all times, and subject to review. We are preparing our library spaces to welcome you back safely.
What to expect from Monday 29 June
We are unable to offer study spaces and/or access to newspapers and magazines at this time. However, we are continually reviewing the availability of these services, as part of the graduated return to library services.
As the national reserves system remains off, you cannot reserve items at present but we are actively looking to re-instate this service.
*Update: 6 July 2020
There is a significant volume of stock to be redistributed at present, once we get through the backlog, we hope to be able to deal with new reserves within a fortnight.
Further information can be found here:
This gradual re-opening is consistent with Government Guidelines and the measures are designed to limit the spread of Covid 19.
Welcome Back, we missed you!
