Spring into Storytime with dlr Libraries during the month of April, where we will be hosting storytime and craft sessions in many of our branches!

Spring into Storytime is one of the 4 main strands of the national Right to Read programme, which aims to promote reading and literacy resources for people of all ages with a special emphasis on reading development for children through Storytime sessions.

Blackrock Library - Sat 13 April, 11.00-11.50am
Travel back in time to 1904 with author and illustrator Úna Woods!  Úna will read her new picture book A Blooming Great Day and show you how to make and design paper people and outfits from the past.  All materials provided. Suitable for ages 6-10

Giggle time and Puppetry fun
Join German storyteller Simone Schuemmelfeder, Storyteller-in-Residence for Dublin City Libraries, for a fun filled morning of storytelling and puppetry! Meet Simone's puppet friends Gimme the Baby Vulture, Katie the shy Caterpillar and Bingo the happy dog and join them on an adventurous journey through stories, rhymes and fun.
