Music Room

Musical Instruments

A music room is available in Dalkey Library. The room contains a piano, harp, guitar and digital piano and is available for anyone wishing to practice these instruments. Please note the room is not fully soundproof. We ask that you do not conduct lessons in the music room, it is for use by one person at a time.

Guidelines for Use of Music Room

  • Bookings are for a 50min period but may be extended at the Issue Desk if the Music Room is available  

     

  • At the end of each session please clean surfaces, lock up Music Room and return Music Room Key to Issue Desk  

     

  • Children under the age of 16 must always be accompanied by an adult.

     

  • Appointments will be held for 15 mins after the booked time 

     

  • Bookings can only be made 1 week in advance 

     

  • Consumption of food and drink is not allowed in the Music Room
