The Lexicon Studio Film Club is delighted to announce that according to popular vote, the first film to be screened on Thursday 28th November at 6pm as part of our Irish Cinema Season (running until May 2025) will be the gently gorgeous 'An Cailín Cúin' ('The Quiet Girl', 2022) directed by Colm Bairéad.

An Cailín Cúin was adapted from Claire Keegan's award winning novella 'Foster' and was nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Feature in 2023. Want to read along? 'Foster' by Claire Keegan is available to reserve and collect at your closest branch or to download via your Online Library.
