Due to a Status Red Weather Warning for Storm Éowyn, all Council Buildings will be closed on Friday 24 January, including all Libraries, County Hall, Dundrum Office, and Leisure Centres.
My Open Library service in Dalkey and Deansgrange Libraries will be unavailable from 8.00pm tonight and is expected to resume at 5.00pm on Saturday 25/01/2025.
Please contact your library branch on Saturday morning before visiting, in case of any extended closure due to storm damage.
Storm Éowyn will bring severe, damaging and extremely destructive gusts in excess of 130km/h.
People are encouraged to take shelter during the storm as Storm Éowyn will bring a danger to life.
Emergency Crews are on standby to monitor the situation and respond as required.
