This exhibition highlights the history of Irish Lights between 1911 and 1923. Irish Lights’ overall mission of safe navigation at sea, is looked at in the context of the wider political and economic developments of the time. The exhibition uses hitherto unexplored sources from the Irish Lights’ archive to present a new and distinctive view of modern Ireland’s most critical decade.
