Learn Watercolour with Svetlana Starikova

The course is intended for people who want to know or develop their skills in watercolour painting and is suitable for beginners. The classes will give students a sense of watercolour and a love for the medium.

Students will learn how to mix paints and how to interact paint with water. They will learn how to use the brush, brushstrokes, as the language of painting. Over time, students learn to control water on a piece of paper. The course studies watercolour techniques: dry, wet, a la prima, glazing, pointillism and other watercolour effects. We will explore flowers, herbs, fruits through watercolour. All creative practices are good for brain health!
