Squid Workshop with Mona

Do you want to learn about Squid? Well, this workshop is for you!

During the first part of this workshop, students will watch a video on squid, learning amazing facts about squid and their internal and external anatomy. Following this, marine biologist, Mona McCrea will demonstrate a dissection of a squid and how to discover if the squid is male or female. In groups, the class will then dissect a squid, with each child having the opportunity to do an aspect of the dissection and write their name in squid ink, just like pirates!
