ACORN tablets – Accessible technology in your hands from dlr Libraries

Since the pandemic, technology has become even more important for staying connected. But not everyone has access to devices or the skills to use them, which can lead to isolation.

To help bridge this gap, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Libraries now offers ACORN Tablets as part of our Digital Inclusion project. These tablets are designed to be easy-to-use, especially for older adults with little or no experience with computers or smart devices. The home screen is simple and clear, making it easy to get started.
