Tonight, 6th December 6.45pm at the LexIcon, we will celebrate all the People on the Pier. Over the past two years we have collected pictures from people who have walked both piers and tonight we will showcase a selection of the pictures. We'll have over 200 photos projected onto the building of people walking the pier - lots from this year and our earliest from 1942.  This is a unique event marking the finale of the People on the Pier project for this year's bicentenary of the harbour.

This event marks the 200th anniversary of Dún Laoghaire Harbour in 2017 and is the finale of dlr Libraries' Bicentenary of the Harbour celebrations and is a project which will have a lasting legacy for our Local History Collection.  We will also have 400 photos on display on a digital loop in the LexIcon Lab where we will have mince pies and mulled wine for the occasion.

All welcome!
