Events Celebrating St Brigid's Day/ Imbolg

Traditional Crossmaking workshops - for adults, families and schools
Join Aoife from Wicklow Willow and make a traditional St. Brigid's cross from rushes. For family sessions, children work alongside an adult guardian to create a keepsake to display at home. Adult sessions will incorporate more elaborate cross designs sure to challenge even the most seasoned crafter. Our school sessions are reserved for invited groups where Aoife will be visiting local classes to create some beautiful pieces in the classroom.

Booking is essential for all locations via email with the exception of dlr LexIcon which is a drop-in session open to all.

We have invited local active retirement groups to join us to celebrate Imbolc/Brigid's Day with some traditional Irish music, dance and crafts, followed by a social cup of tea and a chat.
