Summer Stars 2022

We were delighted to welcome the winners to a special prize giving morning with An Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Mary Hanafin, in Blackrock Library on 28 September. We were also joined by Emily Symes from Airfield Estate our main sponsor, and by author Shane Hegarty and children from All Saints National School.

Our Prize Winners for 2022 are:

1st prize Viraj Mehta
2nd prize Oliver Torris
3rd prize Edie Kirwan.

Congratulations to all the children who participated and made this reading challenge such a huge success. Once again, the children of Dún Laoghaire Rathdown impressed us with the number of books they read this summer.  Over 1500 children signed up for the Summer Reading Challenge and a staggering 23,100 books were read.
