What's On: Oct-December 2018

We have an interesting and varied programme lined up for October-December 2018. Most notable perhaps are the centenary commemorations for the RMS Leinster, happening in dlr LexIcon and around the Dún Laoghaire area. Look out for a great range of Music Generation dlr events happening in dlr Libraries for children as well as the very popular Monday Morning Music with Tim Thurston series for adults in dlr LexIcon. We have a great line up of writers for the dlr Library Voices series, this ever popular series has been running now for a decade, and there is a souvenir brochure worth picking up. 

dlr LexIcon Lab events, Harpathon and Designathon are further events worth exploring. We have events lined up for Children's Book Festival, Science Week, many for local schools, as well as Halloween and Christmas events for young and old alike. We also have our usual array of regular library events such as baby book clubs, adult book clubs, story time, workshops, exhibitions, talks, author visits, language exchanges, corcail comhrás, theatre, film, writing and audio book clubs and not forgetting the wonderful exhibition and learning programmes in the municipal gallery at dlr LexIcon brought to you by the dlr Arts Office.
