Overview
Ethel and Ernest is a graphic novel written by Raymond Briggs as a tribute to his parents. Almost as much a social history as it is a personal account, Ethel & Ernest is a moving tribute to ordinary people living in an extraordinary time. It has since also been made into an animated film. In equal parts humourous and poignant, I can't recommend this enough.
