Sensory Sessions - dlr Libraries’ Monthly Workshops for Neurodiverse Children

Sensory Saturday

dlr Libraries’ monthly Sesnsory Sessions are tailored for neurodiverse children and their families. One adult guardian is required to attend with a child/children and can feel free to join in the fun.

dlr Libraries will also have an area set up with a selection of sensory toys and equipment. Should children need time to self-regulate, there will be space and time to do so.

Upcoming Sessions
Sensory Sessions with Active Academy - dlr LexIcon

Active Kids Academy are delighted to partner with dlr Libraries again to bring you an afternoon of inclusive fun. Our sessions will offer a variety of activities which children can explore independently or with others.

We will have Lego stations, a mini obstacle course, sensory play and multiple building stations including magnetic tiles, number blocks and much more. Children can wander between activities at their own pace and whiz around our obstacle course to burn off some energy.

These sessions are tailored to children who are neurodivergent and those with additional needs.

Please note - children must be accompanied by an adult guardian only. No additional adults or children as space is limited.

**Date: Friday 28 March, 1.30 - 4.30pm
Location: Studio Theatre, Level 1, dlr LexIcon**
