10,000 Years of Hellenic Maritime Tradition

dlr Libraries are pleased to present a new exhibition developed in partnership with the Embassy of Greece in Ireland. Exploring the sea as a defining element of Greek history, culture and identity, the exhibition highlights the enduring maritime connections between Greece and Ireland. Featuring historical and contemporary images from the Hellenic Maritime Museum and other collections, it tells a fascinating story of maritime traditions, coastal communities and the cultural importance of the sea across generations.
