Join our dlr Writer in Residence Eve McDonnell for these lively workshops for local schoolchildren.  

In The Last Boy, Brewster – a small, unwanted ‘climbing boy’ – is sold to a cruel Master Sweep, his brother’s sooty thumbprint sealing the deal. Let’s explore Brewster’s harrowing Victorian world and learn about his incredible legacy and motivations for wishing for a better life for all climbing boys. Wishes exist in hope-filled hearts, they create ambition and dreams of better things, they bring smiles and delicious anticipation! Let’s make our mark by creating our own unique WISHPRINT – our giant, wish-filled fingerprint.
