This mini-exhibition showcases the vibrant world of Cantonese ceremonial flower plaques — large, hand-crafted floral displays used in festivals, business openings, and community celebrations across Hong Kong. Learn about the symbols, colours, and craftsmanship behind these towering art pieces, and discover how they continue to evolve in modern times.  

What to look out for:  

      •     A handcrafted miniature flower plaque  

      •     Archival images of traditional plaques in Hong Kong  

      •     A peek into the meaning behind common decorative elements (like dragons, the phoenix and auspicious phrases)  

      •     Short descriptions in both English and Chinese
