dlr LexIcon Studio Film Club Presents: Irish Cinema Season with Pride: Breakfast on Pluto

Irish Cinema Season celebrates Pride month this June with Cillian Murphy's award-winning turn in director Neil Jordan's classic Breakfast on Pluto. Set in the 1970s, it tells the story of Patrick ‘Kitten’ Braden who sets off from a small Irish town that doesn't understand them on an odyssey to London to find their mother who abandoned them as a baby. Also starring Brendan Gleeson and Liam Neeson and adapted from Patrick McCabe's 1998 Booker Prize shortlisted novel, it's a tale of overcoming all the odds with wit, charm, and unconquerable panache.
