Foxrock Local History Club talk: Windsor House by Philip Lecane 

Windsor House, at Monkstown Ave junction, was built in the 1790s but altered a few times over the years. This house was occupied up to 1832 by the Lane family who sold it to Michael Thunder, a brewer, who enlarged the house and added a gate lodge. In 1841 it was owned by a jeweller and goldsmith Matthew Law. It is now a Montessori School. Philip Lecane, our speaker, has researched some of the families who lived in this house.
