Oscar Wilde and his lifelong links to France talk in Dalkey Library
Event Description

The end of November marks the 125 anniversary of Oscar Wilde's untimely death in Paris. To mark the occasion, library colleague Brendan will give a talk on Wilde and his lifelong links to France and the French people. From the inspirations for The Picture of Dorian Gray and Salomé to his final resting place under the Sphinx in Cimetière du Père-Lachaise, this is the story of a love affair with a language, an attitude and a people.
