Tender Whispers From the Heart – Workshops

dlr Libraries and Creative Ireland dlr are excited to bring Dublin-born textile artist Rebecca Devaney to deliver a programme based on her project, Tender Whispers From the Heart. This includes a lecture, workshops and an exhibition during November and December. 

As part of the Tender Whispers from the Heart programme in dlr LexIcon, join textile artist Rebecca Devaney for a three-part embroidery workshop across three Saturdays in November and December. Discover the meditative art of embroidery, exploring the threads that connect poetry, textiles and creativity. All materials are included: vintage French linen, silk threads, needles, embroidery hoops and scissors. Each participant will also receive access to an online course to continue their embroidery journey at home.
