dlr Libraries Reading Horizons: Adult Reading Challenge

Bring fun, spontaneity and a spot of novelty to your reading over the next few months – because reading challenges aren’t reserved just for children!

dlr Libraries invites you to broaden your Reading Horizons through our six-months long reading challenge. All you need to do is read six books from the following genres:

*Short stories

*Thrillers

*Poetry

*Sci-Fi & Fantasy

*Literary fiction

*Non-fiction

To join, simply ask to be signed up for the challenge at the desk in your local branch.

And to make it a bit more fun, everyone who manages to read across all six genres will be entered into a raffle to win special prizes!

The challenge runs from 1 July to 31 December 2026; raffle prize winners will be contacted in January 2027. This is a reading challenge open to adults, over 18 years of age.

Not sure what to read? Don’t worry, your friendly library staff are here to help with recommendations.
