dlr Libraries will begin to re-open library spaces from 10 May

This will be a gradual, responsible resumption of onsite library services in line with Government guidelines. We are delighted to welcome everyone back to our libraries!

From Monday 10 May 2021, you can:

• Return and borrow items.

Quick browse visits with restricted numbers in place at: Blackrock, Cabinteely, Dalkey, dlr LexIcon, Dundrum, Shankill and Stillorgan Libraries. Usual opening hours apply.

Please note that Deansgrange Library is currently closed for essential roof maintenance and is due to re-open at the end of May, subject to completion of works.

• Print from home, from your own device, or from a designated quick-use PC in your local dlr Library

• Use self-service photocopiers

• Continue to use Surfbox postal printing service, which allows you to send documents from home and receive your printing by post the next day

• Continue using all our online services

From Monday 17 May 2021, you can:
• Reserve books online

However, as per Government guidelines, we are unable at present to provide any service which involves seating including general seating or study spaces. We are unable at this time to provide full access to Internet PCs/laptops, or to programme live indoor events in our spaces.

We will continue to provide you with service updates as they resume through our social media channels, our fortnightly e-bulletin and on our website

Face coverings remain mandatory when visiting Libraries
