Roald Dahl themed Family Day at dlr LexIcon

Come along to dlr Libraries' Roald-Dahl themed Family Day in dlr LexIcon on Saturday 8^th October 2016.

Tuesday 13th Sept 2016 marked 100 years since the birth of Roald Dahl - the world's number one storyteller. Celebrate one of the greatest children's writers of all time at this Family Day, which will be 'Dahltastic' in every sense of the word! Come along for BFG animation workshops, the Great Big Dahl show, which will include readings, rap, rhyme and song inspired by some of Dahl’s best-loved books. Punch Lion will be on hand with family-friendly stand-up comedy club for kids and big kids! There will also be craft workshops, and look out for life sized Dahl characters, who might even paint your face like you favourite Dahl character!
