Tulip Origami in Dalkey Library
Let little hands create something beautiful! In this hands-on workshop with staff member Nadiia, children will learn how to fold a bright tulip using the art of origami. Flying Friends Mixed Media Workshop
Join visual artist Susie Fortune from White Doodle for a Flying Friends Mixed Media Workshop. Children will design and create their own flying creature — a butterfly, bird, dragon, rocket, or a brand-new invention — using collage, drawing, and textured materials. This playful, hands-on workshop encourages imagination, fine motor skills, and creative confidence through a fun, process-focused art experience.

Our hugely popular Schools' Quiz returns this April! Qualifiers will run from the 20 - 30 April throughout our branch network, with the Grand Final taking place on Friday 1 May in dlr LexIcon.

National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) Photographic Exhibition
The NRH Foundation is very excited to bring this collection of photographs to Deansgrange Library. This artistic and varied collection of photographs were created by patients and staff of the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH), Dún Laoghaire, as part of a calendar project. The images in this exhibition are available for purchase to raise vital funds for the NRH. Contact fundraising@nrh.ie with any queries.

Toddler Time at dlr LexIcon
