The Gospel According to BlindBoy

Overview
The debut of the mouthpiece of infamous rap duo The Rubberbandits is surprisingly not a treatise on his opinions on life but instead a collection of 15 short stories. Whats amazing is how confident and fully formed the debut writers prose is. Its weird, hilarious and sometimes shocking and uses the Limerick vernacular in a way I've never read before. Stories include Tipperarys first ever ISIS recruit, an encounter with Sam Neill and an obscene alternate history. It is sometimes reminiscent of authors like Pat McCabe but has a unique voice all of Blindboy's own. The podcast where Blindboy reads the stories to his own original compositions is also highly recommended
