Award-winning writer Julie Parsons, author of People Like Us shares the memories of her grandfather, Canon George Chamberlain, rector of the Mariners' church for thirty-five years. Through times of turmoil, social and political change, and war, George Chamberlain provided both his family and his parish with a secure belief in their church and confidence in their state. Using words and wonderful photos Julie brings the Chamberlains of Adelaide St. and their world back to life in this vivid, compelling and unforgettable presentation.
