Cup of Focals with Áine Gallagher

A Cup of Focals is a form of Guerrilla Gaeilge activism created by artist Áine Gallagher, described by the Irish Times as "promoting the Irish language in a fresh way". With it, she playfully pops up in different spaces with her cup full of Irish words and accosts strangers in the hope they will take a focal from her cup and speak a bit of Irish with her. Áine knows that many of us want to speak the language more however, we often feel too nervous to do so.
