Kings and Queens of the Road –Ríthe agus Banríonacha an Bhóthair

In partnership with the Museum of Childhood Ireland, Musaem Oige na hÉireann we are delighted to host a new exhibition celebrating the book,  Kings and Queens of the Road – Ríthe agus Banríonacha an Bhóthair, a collection of personal stories reflecting the journeys children once made to and from school. The exhibition showcases some of the stories and accompanying artworks by the artist Molly Buí Hennessy, bringing voices and lived experiences to life through memory and community history.

A programme of free education and art workshops delivered by the Museum of Childhood Ireland and Molly Buí Hennessy will run alongside the exhibition.
