Spot the Spin: A Workshop on Misinformation and Elections with Dr Eileen Culloty

As voters, we’re all targets for spin, persuasion, and manipulation, especially in the run-up to elections. This interactive workshop, organised by EDMO Ireland, invites participants to navigate real-world examples of misinformation and disinformation, from viral memes to misleading headlines. Along the way, participants will sharpen their critical thinking skills, learn to recognise common tactics, and reflect on how to make more informed choices about the information we consume.
