Eavan Boland with Siobhán Campbell

One of Ireland’s foremost poets, Eavan Boland talks candidly to fellow poet Siobhán Campbell. A pioneering figure in Irish poetry, Boland’s previous works include The Journey and Other Poems, The Lost Land and Code. She currently divides her time between Dublin and California where she is Mabury Knapp Professor in Humanities at Stanford University. The Sport of Writing - Meet the Sportswriters

The Sport of Writing - Meet the Sportswriters! was a special event organised as part of the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Writer in Residence Programme. The event was hosted by Katy Hayes, dlr County Council Writer in Residence 2012-2013, and it gave the audience an opportunity to hear renowned authors and journalists John Breen, Declan Lynch and Johnny Watterson read from their work and talk about their relationship with sport as writers. The Writer in Residence programme is organised by dlr Arts Office and Library Service and is grant-aided by the Arts Council. The podcast of the event was recorded on Thursday 6th December 2012 in dlr Leisure Services, Meadowbrook, Ballinteer.
