Dublin Camera Club Annual Exhibition
Founded in 1946, Dublin Camera Club has run an exhibition of photographs every year, and we are pleased to hold the exhibition for a second year in dlr LexIcon, Dun Laoghaire.
120 photographs will be exhibited on Level 4 showing the best of local photography across many different genre - landscape, seascape, portrait, nature, street documentary etc.
Club members will be in the library throughout July to answer questions about photography and give tips and advice to those interested in taking up this interesting hobby.

Feast of the Earth: A Timescape of Existence, Earth and Humanity
Feast Upon the Earth is a big picture story depicting existence, Earth and humanity. The artwork is a large timescape 2.4 metres high, spanning 10 metres. It was originally commissioned by the Irish Museum of Modern Art as part of the Earth Rising eco-festival.
Feast Upon the Earth situates us in geological time, zooming in on human timeframes as we progress through the 8 panels. As we move through the panels towards the present moment, the complexity accelerates and the impact of human choices and systems on nature become apparent. The connection between the cosmos and humanity is shown. We
The Women of Cuala & Dun Emer
A collaboration between the Yeats Sisters Commemoration Project and the Irish Guild of Embroiderers, with the support of DLR Heritage and Dublin City Library and Archive.
This exhibition will tell the origins of the Dum Emer & Cuala Industries in Dundrum and Churchtown, the engagement between the Yeatses but specifically Susan ‘Lily’, and the pioneering figure of Evelyn Gleeson; elaborate through a series of visuals from original prints, the work of the many women artists who contributed to the Cuala portfolio, and present original works by the members of the Irish Guild of Embroiderers, who

Peter Varga is an author, photographer, and creator of the social media phenomenon Humans of Dublin.
Over the past decade, he has approached thousands of people on the streets of Dublin and posted over 2,500 portraits and stories to his page.
