Cabinteely Library is a renovated Carnegie building built in 1912 to the designs of the celebrated architect Rudolph Maximilian Butler who also designed Dundrum and Shankill Libraries. Built in the then fashionable Arts and Crafts style it is beautifully situated in a large garden in the middle of Cabinteely village. Its red and blue tiled roof, leaded windows and copper cupola make it a distinctive local landmark.
